AirOne

An airline that doesn't have the Y2K problems of Air 2000. But what does its name mean? The number of aircraft it operates? The average number of passengers per flight? Another nickname for Michael Jordan? No: according to Daniel Ka, it's a cunning play on the Italian word airone, meaning "swallow" -- the bird, not the opposite of "vomit".

Someone should tell AirOne's designer: its logo looks like a stork.

Thanks to Nushin Bokai. (1999)

AirOne (DC)

Made by a firm whose logo looks like an intertwined D and C. Any ideas who this might be?

Thanks to Frank Mulliri (2005)

AirOne (stripes)

A sad day. AirOne have dropped their stork, and have adopted Azzurra's logoless bag.

Thanks to Nicola Ottolini. (2003)

Air Ontario

No logo on this deep bag. But Ken Pugh says it's from Air Ontario, and I'm prepared to take his word for it.

Thanks, Ken (2001)
