Basel-based Compagnie de Transport Aérien
went down the road to Elag in Kirchberg to make these boring bags. See Balair
CTA for another offering from this firm. Thanks to Bruce Kelly.

Nothing revolutionary about this bag: no
picture of Fidel Castro or Che Guevara. Just Cubana's tailfin logo.
Thanks to Sam Green. (2000) |

Fidel's carrier must have run out of red ink. Thanks to Christian and Gerhard Lang. (2004) |

One of the few barfbags to celebrate an anniversary. Cubana is 75 years
old this year. The tailfin logo has disappeared in favour of a miniature
plane doing aeronautics.

A phrase I don't think I've ever seen on a barfbag before: it says Při
náhlé nevolnosti. A quick check (isn't the Internet a wonderful thing?)
tells me it's Czech. I guess it means the same as the Spanish, Russian,
English and French that also tell readers what this bag is for.
