I guess this is a Croat bag. Quite what the blue patterned rectangle is, beats me.

In Dutch, English, French and German. The English says "BAGS for hygienic Bandages etc. Please deposit into Sanitary bucket or container Don't throw in the watercloset, as this might clog the wastepipes."

"Bitte lassen Sie diese nach Gebrauch im Toiletteneimer zurueck," ("please leave this after use in the waste bin") seems sensible enough.

But it continues: "...da sonst die richtige Funktionierung des Abortus gefährdet werden könnte" ("for otherwise the correct functioning of the abortion could be put at risk").

I think they might have meant "Abort" (toilet) rather than "Abortus" (abortion).

Or perhaps flushing this bag really will cause gynaecological complications?

It's still "Bags" in the plural for English speakers.

But the German has been trimmed by a sharp-eyed editor. There's now no explanation of the reproductive health problems that will occur if you try to flush this bag and contents down the loo.

Oh dear, they still haven't got the German right. Now it says "... da sonst die richtige Funktionierung das Aborte gefährdte werden könnte" (should be "...des Aborts...").
